“Animate the future”, Erasmus+ KA1 for Youth Workers, Poland

Three ARVIS volunteers, Marius Cazacu, Daniela Bejinariu and Emilian Ceredeev, attended a training course in the context of the project “Animate your future” (2014-3-PL01-KA105-013570). The partner countries were Estonia, Macedonia, Romania, Czech Republic, Portugal and Poland. The coordinator was Fundacja POCIECHA, Poland. The training was run from the 25th of February to the 3rd of March 2015, in the resort Polubie in Złocieniec (Poland).
The aim of the project was to familiarize the participants with the issues of animation, social animation and “play education” in youth work. Within the project the trainers thought the learners how to use animation and play to activate the community, particularly young people, to teach entrepreneurship and a healthy lifestyle.
As part of the training, participants tested the practical aspects of animation and acquired specific skills and tools for working with youth. The youth workers also developed their professional, social and personal skills.
As the result of the training scenarios of animation programs tailored to the needs of specific groups of youth were designed.
